Janice aboard Seaweed,
living the good life afloat...

Trawler cruising on $14 per day is possible.
I'm doing it and you can too.

Life on Seaweed

Coastal cruising is within reach of even the least financially endowed. I'm certainly proof of that!

Those of us out here refer to our income as the "Cruising Kitty" and it's the money we have to spend each month. I'm at the low end of that scale, but you know what? I'm anchored in the same spots as the fancy Hatteras Motor Yachts, and across the way from me right now is a DeFever44. It's truly not about the net worth -- it's about getting out and experiencing life on the water.

In an effort to increase my income, I am an Amazon Affiliate. Purchases through my links (found in the upper left corner of every page) cost you nothing and do help. In addition I do have a PayPal account that's a bit lonesome! Contributions welcome, and always appreciated.

Thanks!

Skipper, First Mate

You know, if you chose to help fund the Cruising Kitty, that's great. But if not, that's fine too. I'm so blessed just to be here that really, though extras are fine and dandy and greatly appreciated, I'm living the life I've chosen and am so fortunate to be out here. I know I'm blessed....

Life afloat truly is amazing!

My home is not fancy by any means, however you cannot imagine how wonderful it is to come back to her after an expedition on shore.

Here we are anchored in the Carrabelle River and as you can see the sunset is pretty marvelous.

If I can live this life, why not you too?

A favorite aphorism: Boat Math: Start with a list of 10 projects, finish 8, and find yourself with only 15 projects left. Boat Projects have a definite kinship with rabbits.

Thanks for visiting. If you happen to see my boat along the waterways, give a call on Channel 16. I'm always listening.
