Jeff and his wife ordered a Nor'Sea 37. Hull number 2.

On a subsequent visit he found Hull #1 (Justices boat) still un-finished (under construction) and #2 (intended for him) still IN THE MOLD.

To continue operating, Garrison was asked to come up with the full

I had a signed Purchase Order for $225,000 from Jeff Garrison and if you noticed we did mold his hull to get started on Hull #2 of the Nor'Sea 37.
This was a large order that we really needed. Had it gone ahead, Jeff would have had a beautiful boat and I probably would have been able to clear up the money problems. We had the capability, talent and opportunity to build Jeff his Nor'Sea 37 but he just couldn't qualify for the loan.

Here's a nice Doctor who can't qualify for a boat loan? Is that my fault? I tried many lenders for Jeff.
He had a home in Colorado that had to be sold before a lender would approve this boat loan. When he finally did sell the Colorado house (many months later) a Lender did approve Jeff for a boat loan BUT the approval was only good for 90 days.
I went to my bank for an 8 month construction loan. They looked at Jeff's approval letter and noticed it was only good for 90 days. (not 8 months)
My Bank properly refused my construction loan to build Jeff's boat because Jeff's 90 day approval was way to short.
Since Jeff Garrisons hull was already molded I told him we could build his boat at our new shop. But our ex-production manager, Jeff Daniels and customer Charlie Pepper had already talked Jeff Garrison into canceling his order.
(They also told Jeff Garrison that I was being investigated by the District Attorneys office to discourage him further)
what a lie
but it scared Jeff and Christie Garrison away.
Too bad, they were nice people......and losing this order was a real set-back for our company.
We would be glad to credit their money towards another 37
