Oh Pam, I cannot imagine -16 as a temperature... I'm sitting here with the doors opened, screens up (to keep out Buddy) and KNOW for certain how fortunate I am. Plus, it's supposed to get cold on Sunday evening so I'm soaking up the great weather while it lasts.
It is magical Pam. Honestly, it is incredible to remember that I'm seeing the same things folks on million dollar yachts enjoy -- or could if they shut off the air-conditioner and went outside!
I have a life-long love of the natural world. This is the life I imagined all those years ago, and now it is my world. Really, truly, I am beyond thankful. I'm wishing everyone can appreciate how beautiful nature can be -- except the part with critters eat each other. (sigh)

The Grands are fun. I am glad that I am able to speak with them regularly. Many are not so fortunate. Cell phones have changed the world. I remember when long distance calls were so expensive as to be out of the reach for all but the shortest of conversations. Life is indeed good.
