Heating SeaWeed from Pam on 27 Jan '19

You've found a great way to heat your boat AND toast marshmallows. How cool is that. :) I enjoy browsing Lehman's offerings; they sell quality items that are hard to find anywhere else. Stay warm, Janice!

Glad you are staying warm from Keith Wolfe on 28 Jan '19

I never heard back from you on the measurements for the panels. Email me and let me know how you want to proceed.

Lehman's is interesting. I am always curious about how to do things without power. Now I do have adequate solar and battery capacity, however I like having a backup plan too.

It is cold here but nothing even close to the polar vortex. I hope you are staying safe and warm.

Skipper is wearing her winter coat when outside. Me too! I found my trench coat. That is warm enough. I like that it is longer (just below my knees) so not at all drafty. Best of all my gloves were in the pockets. I'm all set.

Thank you for your comment Pam. I appreciate that.

This article was a quickie as a friend mentioned her difficulty in lighting one of these heaters. She had ordered more lighters and was concerned she'd run out before the new ones arrived. That's not a problem now.

Take care lady. I'll see you along the waterways one day. Your friend, J.

Oh my goodness Keith. from Janice aboard Seaweed on 29 Jan '19

That just totally slipped my mind. Thank you for the reminder. I will email for an address tonight. As usual I am behind on emails. Thank you again. J.

Singapore Wow! from Janice aboard Seaweed on 30 Jan '19

Thank you so much Cap'n Budd for your kind words. To me hearing from someone so far away brings home the reality that this world is wonderful. Boaters are amazing. Thank you for being a part of my world.

Thanks also for your comment Cap'n Budd.
