Good advice, Janice. Finding people of like interests and being our self will go a long way toward meeting new friends, and maybe even someone special. Is it summer where you are now? The snow is melting here, so there is hope of spring soon. :)

I was certain winter was over so last week I removed the electric blanket from my bunk. All the cold weather items were washed and put away including my super warm flannel nightgown.

Those things are under my bunk and behind Christmas. Trust me when I say they are stowed. To access them almost everything has to be removed from the locker.

So of course this last little blast of chilly temperatures is Most Unwelcome. Still, it is so much better/nicer than other parts of the country. I have a couple of flannel pieces that when layered we're quite sufficient. It has been grey here. I'd almost say it looks like snow is on the way! Thankfully that won't happen.

Plus I'm having the most fun with microgreens and sprouting. Hint: The next time you're at the Dollar Tree look for travel soap containers. They used to be three for a dollar though now it is only two for a buck. Depending upon how much you like rabbit food, you will want one for each day of the week. I have gone far beyond that and am having just the best time growing my own salad. One soap container or two per day is perfect. More details in an upcoming article.

Thanks Cap'n. I have been divorced since 1994 so have seen the dating dance for decades. My goal is to share my life however because Seaweed is smaller I am in the same situation as many longer term soloists.

Basically that means I am satisfied with the status quo. There is an old saying that it takes a mighty fine partner to be better than none at all. Still, someday I would like to be married. That in and of itself will frighten most men my age. They've been through the divorce wringer and are quite naturally gun shy.

That's okay though. I am cautious too. And I am content. Not a lot of people are so fortunate. Anyway Captain Jonah, thanks so much for your comment. I appreciate that. J.
