Terrific series on being able to grow your own food. Eternal salads. Love it! You seem to have a PhD in MicroGreens. Did you attend a special school for this? Great job. Janice Marois, PhD, Microgreen University. Keep up the great work. Thanks for all you do.
I am still learning and enjoying the process. This has opened a whole new world for me. Just to be able to avoid grocery stores and enjoy rabbit food is indeed amazing.
I always thought farmers were some of the hardest working important folks on the planet. They are definitely underappreciated by far too many. That I can mimic their success onboard a boat without dirt is a wonder.
A friend of mine returned from an extended cruise. She mentioned missing fresh produce and fruit most of all. I cannot grow fruit, however I've got at least some of the produce covered. If I can do this hopefully others will try.
Thank you so much Cap'n Farmer for your kind words. I appreciate them. J.
I'm impressed, Janice. Through persistence and trial and error you designed a great system for growing good, fresh greens on a regular basis ON A BOAT. I'm using that system. :)
Thanks Pam. It is a lot easier now that the kinks are worked out. I hope you give it a whirl. As Masha said earlier radishes are also great as microgreens. Because I grow them as sprouts I didn’t add them here. If you like radishes the microgreens and the sprouts too taste just like the full grown root. As a sprout the radishes continue to grow in the refrigerator just like wheat. In case you wondered.
Thanks for sticking with me while I ramble on about my plants. Your friend, J.
