You're a busy person, Janice. I didn't realize you're also helping take care of and fix other boats' systems. When I hear something 'struck by lightening' I envision very dramatic looking results (burnt and blown to smithereens), not the more visually subtle damage you encountered. Thanks for sharing this experience, we've all learned from it.

I too was surprised. There was no indication until Jesse started digging into the upper helm. As for the alternator, the exterior was fine with zero indication of any issues. I know I learned lots.
