That looks like a good, little fan (DC no less). The price compared to Hella fans is impressive. Even if they wore out quicker than Hella fans you'd have to replace one nine times to equal the cost. I'm looking more and more frequently at a loop scenario. Currently I'm dumping cash into Seaweed. Baby gifted me cash for mom's day, so I went ahead and upgraded the microwave.
Next is a new reefer. The interior is slightly larger, and also better laid out. I've already found a new home for the old one which pleases me.
The nuker moved over to the gulfstar36 near me. Jesse is staying aboard her and he needed a way to make coffee without having to go to the lightning struck vessel. This will be easier for him. Plus whoever buys the gulfstar won't have to buy one.
Summer arrived with a humid blowtorch. Ugh. I'm Hibernating in the boat with the ac on. Thank goodness for the power cord. I have an issue with the DC power in my pilot house. That means that there was a short. One fuse kept burning out. I ordered a new fuse block, decided to finally replace the wood up there (Keith on S/V Grace made me new panels) and it is time to get that project finished.
A bad accident (car totaled) messed up my left side so raising that arm wasn't ever a real thing. Fortunately I broke that arm, so all the problems are on one side. When I get ready to place the breakers, ground block, switches for horn, steaming light, anchor light, running light, plus vhf and am/fm/cd/usb playing radio I will have to have a helping hand. I'm not ready yet though.
I am making progress, albeit slowly. I've been taking pictures. And processing them, so that is good. Next to catch up on posting. Several are almost linked. Story of my life: always a bit late.
Thanks for sticking with me Pam. Those tugs are something. If I do decide to do some sort of loop I'd have to avoid Lake Michigan. Seaweed is coastal and the great lakes are seriously open water. I'd want to truck my girl past the rough stuff. But for this summer I am tweaking the heck out of systems. The boatyard was the start. It's not finished in that I did not get my secondary propulsion unit aka Suzuki9.9 long shift, white, with the goodies...YET!! I do have a friend who can hook it up with a helm at my helm so thats progress. I do still have the money set aside from when that company disappointed me by not ordering the proper unit, then not correcting the problem. I did get my money back, though I'm still a bit salty about the fiasco. Argh.

Great article on Fans. Technology moves forward and provides. I love 12 volt, rechargeable fans for less than $10. This is a very big deal because boat fans in general cost close to $100 in most boating catalogs and in boat stores. So, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! You are so helpful.
