Draw a schematic of how everything is arranged before you dive in, assemble tools and needed bits, label wires, pay attention each step of the process. Very sound advice. :) I bet all the birds are going to miss you! , and will remember you when you stop by again.

My birds are wonderful. Decades ago I had a mallard Drake that I raised from a couple days old until he grew up. He flew off. Thank you Cap'n Warren. The battery project like all things boat grew. From a simple swap out Batts to corrosion, replacement of terminal ends, marking positive cable ends, mounting wires back on the bulkhead... Every boat project expands. This one was no exception.

Part of the growth can directly be attributed to me. I see things and want the fixed. Plus the cables were put on the Batts in the wrong order. That sort of thing just irritates me. How hard is it to do things this important properly?!?

The boat power systems, 32-volt and 12-volt are better now. Simple things like that please me. Thank you Cap'n for noticing, and for your comment. Both are appreciated. J.

Whoops Pam! Those random letters are supposed to read "someone to" ... Oops! The worst is when I text. I have a flip phone and even with the font set at Huge when I type the letters are too small to see clearly. Autocorrect is not my friend. Here at least, especially with this nifty tablet, I can see. Sometimes though odd things appear.
