Nice title! from Rob on 5 Aug '23

"Bait Bucket Blues" could be a song title!

You're correct Rob from Janice aboard Seaweed on 5 Aug '23

If that little fish had not jumped it would have died in the garbage can. I had looked and saw nothing. I am so thankful it jumped and I heard.

I really needed the good cheer. It's silly however I am simply delighted. Little things, you know? They make all the difference in the world.

Thanks so much Rob for your comment. It is appreciated. Stay cool and have fun too. J.

So who is going to pen the song? from Janice aboard Seaweed on 5 Aug '23

Your idea is tremendous. It would make a great ballad... gosh I do miss songs that tell stories such as those by Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, the Carpenters too... I wish could sing. Alas, that's a definite no!!! 😀

A dramatic vignette! So, glad the little fish got your attention. And that you're the kind of person that would make sure it was OK.

It was so cool Pam. from Janice aboard Seaweed on 6 Aug '23

I would have been upset if I had inadvertently caused its demise. Instead the fish has a chance at life under the mangrove trees. 😀

I did want to share this slice of life. Now, it's back to power. 240volts, 120 legs, kaput switches that are apparently obsolete,, and, and, and!!! I have an idea, adapted from a friend's suggestion and hopefully an electrical genius can tell me if I'm heading in the correct direction. Eek! Take care and stay cool. And thanks for your comment.

Bait Bucket Survivor from Brother Bart on 6 Aug '23

That little fish was lucky and you are an angel. Incidentally, that article was the perfect length. I would be in favor of you publishing many more articles that long, instead of the tomes you often write. Realize, of course, that I love ALL of your articles.

Bait Bucket Prisoners from Keith and Janet Wolfe on 7 Aug '23

I found a new bait bucket floating outside the entrance to the Titusville Municipal Marina with 1/2 dozen large bait shrimp inside, when I released them they quickly swam into the depths and disappeared. I imagine someone at the nearby fishing pier accidently knocked their bait bucket into the water where the current carried it away. It's a nice feeling to set something free.

Thanks Brother Bart from Janice aboard Seaweed on 8 Aug '23

I might just upload the cutest manatee mashup later today (trying to download the video at present. And thank you for your comment/view. I am actually considering that so your opinion matters. J.

You are right to offer Grace to those shrimp. If you are anchor on a full moon you might spot those shrimp. You did well, and I am positive the shrimp were grateful. Thanks!!!
