Oh Pam the was such a mess. And very time I thought I had cleared it all I would spot more. Thankfully it is now clean.
Yes to the question: the davit has been rotated so the business end of the birds is outbound of my boat.
It was one-more-thing-its and while-I-am-here along with a severe case f might-as-well that caused the difficulties. And I know just who to blame: me! On the other hand lessons were learned potential catastrophe avoided, plus routine maintenance. I survived and my Seaweed is better for my efforts. It was worth it in the end...

Your birds are cute and I am sure that you enjoy them very much. But like all living things, what goes in must eventually come out. So far you seem to be telling us that it is worth the trade off - having the company of your fine feathered friends in exchange for the deposits they make on your boat. What are the pro's and con's? Have you always adopted wild things?
The night herons do provide entertainment. They do have a hierarchy. Some only come when Bruce (pictured above) is gone. Bruce is very bossy.
And yes I do tend to adopt wild critters. Observation pleases me. I do indeed occasionally wonder what they think about people. Such is life aboard Seaweed.

Life is good here, though I did not finish the links today for the newest. It's mostly finished/needs a final Proof though.
On the other hand, I did have to supervise Breezy's bath time. Did LuLu have her swim?
I was at Fiberglass Coatings today spending money to buy the epoxy resin and 'glass for Algae. I do not want to grind the dink. Fortunately the diver said he'd do it. That's a job that I pay for. I do not sand. Argh.
