The GRAND! from Captain Sid on 12 Oct '21

The boating and generator information you presented here was helpful and informative but the real STAR is your granddaughter. She is so precious and so beautiful. You and your daughter do GREAT work. Congratulations!

Getting closer from Pam on 13 Oct '21

Hi, Janice. Solar, wind, and electric power generation covers all the bases. Hopefully at least one works if the other two aren't at the moment. I'm currently staying in a small cabin on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The water has definitely taken on winter mode. Yesterday, while walking in the woods I came across a wooden hull open boat. It must have been drug there and 'retired' many years ago because a couple trees were growing in it.

Thanks Cap'n Sid from Janice aboard Seaweed on 13 Oct '21

Yes, I must agree that the Original Grand is grand. I am fortunate. It is lovely watching the evolution of time as the young ones grow up. How blessed I am. Thank you for the compliment. J.

That is the exact plan Pam from Janice aboard Seaweed on 13 Oct '21

I would like to believe that even were I to run the batteries down too far, that time would enable them to recover. I will admit that has happened. Fortunately the su eventually came out though it was a logging week.

That was pre-kindle so my world was much more centered aboard Seaweed. Now I have a tablet which is a whole new world. This powers my I ternet, allows me to explore and more. Frankly it is the knowledge out there too...having access is important beyond measure.

Your boat in the woods must have been a neat find. I love the world, and seeing things like that spark the imagination. Congratulations.

Stay warm, and enjoy your time... Thanks too for your comment, and the card! It is the first of the season. I've got to get mine out too. Plus settle on what to make for Christmas ornaments. Something with charts certainly, but more than that is undecided. Argh.

Your friend in the south, J.
