When I was a little girl I used to love exploring islands... walking along the shoreline while hunting seashells. I always liked the small shells and had quite a collection. I still have some in a cigar box, but now (well, a while back anyway) I paint 'em. I've not painted for eons.
Painting has gone by the wayside as I write more. Stitching too -- I've missed my other activities. I need to better allocate my time. That is a direct result of having a Kindle. I love my Kindle!!!
It is a miracle in and of itself, to be able to carry with me a thousand books is amazing. I always have a few books going at the same time, plus two or more books that I am re-reading. As winter arrives I suspect I will be reading more.
Tomorrow though I want to get my stuffing made. I've got all the ingredients except celery on hand. I completely forgot it was necessary for the bread stuffing. Argh. And it was on sale too - just 88 cents at Walmart. I don't really have room for it in the reefer, but... oh well, maybe I'll get out. If not, the stuffing will still be amazing.
And then, finally I can get started with Christmas. I am anxious to decorate and won't do that until Thanksgiving. And too I start on the Christmas cards then too. I try to get them all out by the first week in December.

Cheryl and Fred are such an inspiration. I met them once at a dinner in Gulfport. Very impressed by them. Great article.
