Another fun to read article, thank you very much. So happy that Seaweed gives you so much happiness. Finding your 'spot' in this life is difficult to do and brings much satisfaction. Turtles are wonderful and special. Which kind has the longest lifespan - land turtles or sea turtles, and why? Thank you.
Thanks for the compliment re my home. I am indeed blessed.
As for the age of turtles, I am remembering Darwin's turtle discovery on Galapagos when he was exploring on the Beagle. That turtle lived well over 150 years. Though I am fascinated by turtles I have not made any particular study of them. I should no doubt educate myself on turtles. Thank you for your query Sir.
It's the thoughtful additions that make Seaweed happy and homey. Little surprises that pop up where you aren't expecting them. 😊
I want folks to sit, relax, and then spot something that they didn't notice. A great many of my things were gifts so when I see the item I remember the person who gifted it to me. Things I buy for myself tend to be reminders of people from my past. Or beautiful! I like pretty things too.
Here the weather has been perfection. I do preheat my bunk at night. The addition of a 12-volt electric blanket is one of the best additions to Seaweed.
Another addition to Seaweed going on currently is a spiffy new paint job. There is a painter a few boats over. He agreed to do the stripe on Seaweed. Well, it looked GREAT, and he agreed to give my girl a spiffy new paint job. Her gelcoat is 38 years old. That means nothing will make her shine again except paint. So paint it is. Hopefully before Christmas too.
That is it from here on the Gulf coast. Life is good. Thank you again for your comments Pam. I appreciate them, a lot! Your friend in the south, J.
