Loved our holidays growing up. I remember that pencil… I’m surprised it lasted so long with how we treated her 🤣.
I always loved Christmas especially when you were young. For me it was a magical time. Remember Santa dust? (For the uninitiated, Santa dust looks remarkably like multi-colored glitter.) There would be sparkles between the boards of oak floor well past Easter. You know what though? I loved it, and you. Thank you. The Mom.
I love your decorations because each one holds a memory and because it looks as though a happy, synchronized Christmas decoration bomb blew up in Seaweed. I love how there is a visual treasure to find no matter where you look. 🎄 Happy Christmas. 🤗
Hi Janice: Thanks for the new post! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Cheers, Gary
Seaweed does look like the Christmas fairy exploded. And honestly I did scale back, a lot! I do love this time of the year. I am more sentimental than many.
For me looking around Seaweed is comforting. I see my past, the gifts from wonderful folks who have made my life better, and am grateful.
Plus Bing Crosby is here, along with so many of the singers I love. I know I am a softie when it comes to kind folks. Playing my music, singing (badly) along with the songs... well these things are special to me. I was glad to hear that the Original Grand along with Newest are also hearing the old favorites. A few years ago Kidlet and her hubby brought me with them to Disney at Christmas time. I had never imagined seeing that. It was more spectacular than seemed possible. Anyway, I'm rambling. Happy Christmas to you too. J.
I wish the same happiness to you and your family. Cheers to you as well, and thank you for your kindness. J.
This is a BEAUTIFUL article. Wonderful Christmas pictures and sentiment. Thank you for sending this and thank you for a year of great articles. You really are the best.
I appreciate the compliment Gentleman Sid. How nice you are too. As this year winds down I am taking the time to remember how kind folks are. I am indeed fortunate. Thank you Sir for sharing my world and commenting. Both are appreciated. J.
