You are entirely correct in that boats seem to never come with enough handles and bars. It is important to add as many as you can so that you always have something solid to grab onto. Sturdy places to steady oneself is underrated by many. I am glad you share my view on this safety feature. Seaweed is more tender (she rocks a lot) due to being light weight heavier boats have less motion.

Thanks too Sid for your wishes re the New Year. Today I put away almost all my holiday decor. As much as I love the holidays, when they are over I cannot wait to put my home back in order. Smaller boats can rapidly descend into chaos. At least mine does all too frequently.
