I am definitely in favor of the new EFI outboard motors. In every anchorage one of the most popular cruisers is the guy who can fix small outboards. The carburetors are almost always the most common problem and with EFI that issue is solved. So HUZZAH! I could see smaller outboards on trawlers up to maybe 40 feet or so. Twin 40s or twin 60s, maybe. Anyway, loved your article, as always. I see that you have passed the 6.7 million readers mark. Congratulations. Proud of you!
Hi Janice, It's only right that a lovely boat is named after precious, little Skipper. 😊🥰
The guy who can fix these carbs are certainly popular. You are definitely correct. Like you I have seen these larger boats with outboards as primary propulsions. Now as of yet I have not seen a great many however this may indeed be the beginning stages. I suppose those of us who have been around for a while can recognize changes at the beginning stages. I suspect this may be a new age... we shall see.
Thank you Cap'n for being a part of the 6,700,000 million. I appreciate your comment and compliment. Happy boating.
Skipper was totally wonderful, when she was behaving. She did have her moments Pam!
Thank you for your comment Pam. I am so pleased you're still a part of my world. Have a great weekend.
