I had an iPhone and it took a saltwater bath in the bottom of the dinghy. All I did was but a new one ($$$$) and restore the data from the backups that were sent to the Apple cloud. It restored everything including the apps. This backup is built into the phone.
Thank you for your input Cap'n Sinclair. Baby is mine. She's a wonderful daughter. Regardless of how much she has matured (she is smart as a whip) she will always be my Baby. I am incredibly proud of the woman she has become).

I used to call her Two because her brother was One. Children abhor being called in a store by name. It is embarrassing, so we adapted. I would call Two, and she would immediately come to me.

I used to just make calls. Now I look up addresses, play, take notes, take pictures, use the calculator, and more. What I do like is the great pictures. This thing is amazing. StarTrek is here, and that is a bit odd.
Decades ago I took care of two of the sweetest little old ladies on the planet. My Florence was born in 1913 (the year income taxes started and only taxed the wealthiest 2%!!!) and Frances (born 1899) plus both my grandmothers were born in the 1890s... well, those ladies saw some amazing changes. Frances had her own horse and carriage. It was truly a different world. And now, Elon Musk sent a car into space and lands rockets just like in my Tom Corbett, Space Cadet book series!
